Haunted Falls BNS hike
Saturday May 30, 2026  10am - 2pm (4 Hours)
 [email protected]

Join Blomidon Naturalists' member Alain Belliveau to explore the Haunted Falls and Caroline Beach trail to identify plants, lichens, and birds. The falls are about 50 feet tall, and the surrounding vegetation is a classic example Fundy coastal forest and headlands. Inland, old, large Yellow Birch trees grow just above sea caves. The two beaches, Caroline and Pineo, offer a nice mix of beach vegetation and storytelling. The Caroline shipwreck occurred here in the 1800’s, and a monument still offers a reminder of the Bay of Fundy’s treacherousness. Be prepared for a stony trail and crossing a 30cm deep brook.
