The Annapolis Valley Shooting Sports Club is pleased to be hosting our "Ladies Day" event for 2026. Open to women of all ages and experience. You do NOT need to be a AVSSC member. Only firearms, ammunition, bows and arrows provided by the AVSSC will be permitted on club property for this event. "Ammo Tickets" are $1.00 each, most shooting stations will require more than one ticket. We will have eye and ear protection available on site, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please dress according to the weather as we will be making use of our many outdoor ranges as well as our indoor range. Firearm licenses (PAL) are NOT REQUIRED for this event. Members of the AVSSC will be on hand to provide safety and shooting instruction. If you have never been to one of these events, we will run you thru a brief range safety and sight acquisition meeting before you head to the range, PLEASE ASK. Once you are on the range and have chosen a firearm to try, you are given instruction on the safe use of that firearm by your lines coach. No one shoots without having a club appointed line coach by their side.
