Join BNS Board Member John Burka for a bird walk in Miner’s Marsh to celebrate World Environment Day with the Town of Kentville. This is a family-friendly event.

Date: Saturday, June 6

Time: 10:15 am

Location: Miner’s Marsh

Don’t forget to visit the BNS booth in the Miner’s Marsh parking lot!

John is a retired professor who has enjoyed nature for many years. Miner’s Marsh is a special spot for him and he visits regularly to see the birds, turtles, and plant life and how it changes through the year. Sometimes muskrats, beavers, foxes, and weasels appear as well. If you have Merlin on your cell phone, bring it along, and we’ll see how many different species we can hear.
