JRDN Bio:
Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canadian R&B artist JRDN
enters an exciting new chapter in 2026—balancing a powerful solo resurgence with a dynamic new role as frontman of Halifax-based soul collective Lane Hall.

JRDN first emerged on the national stage with his 2010 debut album IAMJRDN, which produced the Gold-certified hits “U Can Have It All” and “Like Magic”, with the latter earning him the 2012 SOCAN Urban Music Award, reaching #1 on the Much and MuchMore Music video charts. He also received nominations for New Artist of the Year and R&B/Soul Recording of the Year at the 2012 Juno Awards, solidifying his place as one of Canada’s most promising R&B voices.

Now in 2026, JRDN is expanding his artistry even further as the lead singer of Halifax-based soul collective Lane Hall. Blending rich live instrumentation with timeless soul influences and contemporary polish, the band has quickly built momentum with the release of three singles: “Holding,” “Little Things,” and “Top Of The Charts.” With a full-length LP slated for release at the beginning of the second quarter of 2026, Lane Hall is positioning itself as one of Atlantic Canada’s most exciting emerging soul acts.

Chris Kirby Bio:
“He’s the East Coast Music Scene’s secret weapon!” - Colin MacDonald (the Trews)

If you’re into east coast music, chances are you’ve heard Chris Kirby’s work lately. The Newfoundland-born songwriter, producer and musician regularly works with some of Canada’s finest artists; Kirby’s deep catalogue of co-writes includes the #1 Canadian Rock radio hit “The
Breakdown” (The Trews), and a slew of other popular releases from the likes of Matt Andersen, Logan Richard, The East Pointers, and Wide Mouth Mason. Many of his songs and cuts have been placed in TV and Film in Canada and USA (CBC, CTV, ABC, Hallmark and more).

An in-demand producer, Chris has produced award-winning projects for artists including Yvette Lorraine (NL), Quote the Raven (NL), Andrew Waite (PE) and Charlie A’Court (NS) and many more.

Lately, Chris has been busy touring as a musician for Matt Andersen. You may have also seen him onstage playing accordion for Alan Doyle, or guitar and keyboards for artists like Amy Helm, Wide Mouth Mason, Charlie A’Court, and Geoff Arseneault.

It’s no surprise that all of these roles keep Kirby very busy. Nonetheless, Chris continues to create his own music and is working on new material for 2026.
