The New Neighbours of Annapolis Valley held its first get together in the Spring of 2023.
As new Nova Scotians we found it difficult to meet new friends, thus the creation of NNOAV.
Our group’s mandate is to encourage people to connect. Whether you’ve lived here in the Valley for 30 years or 30 days, you’re invited to join the fun! The group meets monthly for a social gathering at various restaurants and we all wear name tags (name tags are provided).
In the short time of our existence we’ve watched many new wonderful friendships blossom. We’ve seen many new members strike up friendships that turned into get-togethers for dinners, cards, hiking, bonfires, day trips, attending events, live shows and so much more.
Monthly get togethers are usually the 4th Wednesday or 4th Thursday of the month.
