Join the Municipality of the County of Kings recreation department for Beach School! We will explore science, history, culture, art, nature and more at the beach. This summer long, weekly Friday afternoon session is sure to spark new interest and natural play!

July 3 - 100th Anniversary of the KIPAWO Ferry
Learn some local history - the 'KIP' it was the much loved ferry that connected Wolfville, Kingsport and Parrsboro from 1926-1940 before it was taken for military service in WWII. The end of her service marked the end of direct Minas Basin Connections. After learning about the KIP, we will try to make our own Ferry Boats with loose parts found around the beach.
