This is a walking series for women and girls+ 9 years and older to discover the wonder, joy, and connection of the outdoors.
The guided walks are geared to beginners; however, a base level of fitness is required. Participants should be able to walk consistently for two hours at a comfortable pace on uneven ground. So sorry, dogs are not allowed on these hikes (with the exception of service/therapy dogs).

By registering, you are not committing to participate in all of the walks. An email with details of the location will be sent out 6 days prior to each hike - please RSVP if you plan to join. Everyone who has RSVPed before each hike will receive a reminder email that may contain updates.
Today's gentle walk will be led by Debra Wendle-Smith. We will travel on the new extension of the Harvest Moon Trail towards Horton Landing. The route is an out and back. We will travel approximately 2.5 - 3km in one direction then turn around to head back. Hike distance will be approximately 5-6km, 1.5-2 hours total.
We will be taking a slow-paced approach to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty and surroundings.
Date: Wednesday, July 22
Time: 6 pm to 7:30 pm ( Please arrive a little before 6 to allow the hike to start on time.
Location: Grand Pre Historic Site overflow parking lot
Please use the overflow parking lot across the street from the Grand Pre National Historic Site.
