Come join biologist Alison Stuart for a walk along the Wolfville dykes and learn about the important role of aboiteaux and their effect on our ecology. We will visit two of the aboiteaux on the Wolfville dykes. The walk is about 5 km return. Note there are two walks: the first one starts at 9 am and the second one is at 11 am.

The walks will start from our BNS booth at the Wolfville Farmers’ Market. Come for a walk and buy your local produce at the same time!

Alison Stuart has a Ph.D in Evolutionary Biology. She is currently a high school science teacher who believes in the power of engaging young people in science and social responsibility. She serves as the Secretary on the BNS Executive.
