Morphic Resonance, a collection of paintings by Tacha Reed | September 18 – October 18, 2026

What if the future leaves traces?

Begun in January 2026, Morphic Resonance is a series of more than thirty paintings exploring the possibility that events of immense magnitude might reverberate not only forward through time, but backwards - leaving echoes in memory, intuition and collective consciousness before they occur.

Drawing upon ideas of morphic resonance, retrocausality and premonition, Reed imagines time as a field through which emotional shock can travel like a wave.

Underwater fault lines, volcanic eruptions, escaping gases and unusual storm systems become metaphors for forces gathering beneath the surface. Rendered in acrylic and metallic watercolour on canvas, geological forms shift into something bodily, psychological and strangely familiar.

Perhaps catastrophe begins long before the moment we recognize it.

Perhaps history casts a shadow in both directions.

Join us for the opening on Friday, September 18th at 6pm.
