Indigo in the Valley is a celebration of regenerative farming, ancient craft, and the beauty of the Annapolis Valley. Hosted by Linger Events and Jessica Risser-Milne of Nerdy Girls Farm, you will be given a tour, learn about the farm and gardens, and learn how the remarkable indigo plant is grown, harvested, and transformed into natural dye.
Surrounded by the character of a centuries-old pole barn, you’ll then experience the ancient art of indigo dyeing firsthand—creating your own one-of-a-kind textiles to take home.
As you create, savour handmade pastries and treats from Manuela’s Cakery, paired with locally roasted coffee from Just Us! Slow down, connect with the land and the craft, and discover the story behind the indigo grown right here in the Valley.
