Join Debra Windle-Smith from the Blomidon Naturalists for a walk through the trailway and woods behind Noggins Farm. We’ll gather at Lockhart Ryan Park in New Minas and walk down the trail to the Poor Farm. This is a gentle walk on a fairly even trail.
This is a walking series for women and girls+ 9 years and older to discover the wonder, joy, and connection of the outdoors.
The guided walks are geared to beginners; however, a base level of fitness is required. Participants should be able to walk consistently for two hours at a comfortable pace on uneven ground.
Preregistration is required for this series and you can register anytime. By registering, you are not committing to participate in all of the walks. An email with details of the location will be sent out 6 days prior to each hike – please RSVP if you plan to join. Everyone who has RSVPed before each hike will receive a reminder email that may contain updates.
