In this introduction to NVC workshop series, we’ll practice and develop skills that will allow us to trade guilt, obligation, judgements and demands for conscious communication, trust, connection, and collaboration.
This is an in-person, cozy, winter workshop capped at 10 participants.
We will read and practice the core concepts from the book: Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, with the Companion Workbook by Lucy Lue. Books can be purchased from Empathy Village Mediation for $25 each.
Dates: Sundays: 2:00 - 4:30 pm
Jan 10, 17, 24, 31
Feb 7, 14, 21, 28 (+ following Sundays if snow dates needed)
There will also be a second group meeting on Fridays from 9-11:30 am in Wolfville. You will be asked to choose either the Friday morning or Sunday afternoon group in the application form.
