CentreStage Theatre will be holding a workshop on ACCENTS. In this intensive three-hour workshop, Robert Seale (professor of Voice and Speech at Acadia University) will guide you through practical explorations to develop techniques for perfecting an accent or dialect. This workshop will focus on Cockney, RP (proper British) and Irish dialects, as well as the German accent.
This workshop will be helpful not only for actors looking to bring more authenticity to their characters but also for directors looking for info on accents to be sure their show comes across with the most authenticity.
