CentreStage Presents: There Goes the Bride
When harassed advertising executive Timothy Westerby hits his head on the morning of his daughter's society wedding, he awakes to find himself in the company of Polly Perkins, a 1920's Flapper girl straight out of his current advertising campaign. The carefully planned wedding preparations disintegrate into chaos as friends and family attempt to lead Timothy back to reality and his daughter down the aisle before the newly arrived 'In-Laws' abandon the wedding.
There Goes the Bride by Jay Cooney and John Chapman is a delightful comedy and this family is the funniest you will ever run into. This play is outrageously funny from beginning to end. It's a must see for lots of laughter! The show is geared towards teens and adults.
There Goes the Bride is directed by Wayne and Linda Marriot and stars Mike L’Oiseau, Mindy Vinqvist-Tymchuk, Heidi Price, Carole Ball, Geoff Ball, Brian Cottam, Sharon Burnett and Robert Racine.
There Goes the Bride opens on Friday, January 6 and continues playing each Friday and Saturday night at 8pm until February 11. There will be a 2pm matinee on January 22 and February 5. There is no longer a Thursday preview night. To make reservations, phone 678-8040.
