This year, Mermaid is offering more programs for students in the Annapolis Valley over the March Break holiday. Mermaid Insitute of Puppetry Arts March Break workshops will cover both construction and manipulation of puppets. Students will learn techniques from Mermaid's top instructors at our headquarters in Windsor.
Each workshop includes 6 hours of instruction, construction, and fun. Parents and friends will be welcomed at the end of the workshop to see the students bring their creations to life. Every student will go home with a unique puppet of his or her own creation!
Elementary School (ages 9-12)
2 Day workshop:
Tuesday, March 13, 9am-12pm
Wednesday, March 14, 9am-12pm
Middle School (ages 13-15)
2 Day workshop:
Tuesday, March 13, 1pm-4pm
Wednesday, March 14, 1pm-4pm
High School (ages 16-18)
All day workshop:
Thursday, March 15, 9am-4pm
(break 12-1, lunch NOT provided)
All activities will take place at Mermaid Theatre's spacious and well-equipped facility on Gerrish Street in Windsor.
