The Nova Scotia Citizens’ Health Care Network’s town hall on the 2014 Health Accord in Berwick was rescheduled (due to weather conditions) to Tuesday, February 21st from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Berwick Fire Hall, 300 Commercial St.
The meeting is designed to provide people with some information about the 2014 Health Accord negotiations that are ongoing. The federal government announced they will be reducing funding for public health care after 2017 - this is a call to action.
An overview of the 2014 Health Accord will be provided and questions fielded. The public will then be invited to provide feedback and give input into a People’s Agenda for 2014.
This will be the seventh town hall organized on the Accord by the Health Network.
