Running from May 28 to June 15, this course is a survey of Jazz music. It will examine the musical and social pre-conditions of jazz in the early 20th century and will then teach the central figures who made and make up Jazz as we know it to the present day. It is taught by Mark Adam at Acadia University and is open to all community members interested in a university level history survey course.
