WHAT: Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis
WHO: South West Nova & Valley Chapter of CF Canada hosts this event
DATE: Sunday May 27th.
WHERE: Kingston Arena Ball field
TIME: Registartion for walkers is 11AM-1:30PM, Actualy walk starts at 1pm.
COURSE: We are planning on walking from the ball field, down Bridge Street to Sobeys in Greenwood, then returning to the ball field. We'll have pit-stops along the way and a chase vehicle to help out those who need anything.
SIGN-UP: Anyone interested in signing up to raise money can go to www.cysticfibrosis.ca/greatstrides and CLICK 'Join a Team' or 'Register now'
SCHOOLS INVITED: All our local schools are invited to create a team of walks and raise money for CF. Walkers get a TSHIRT with a minimum $30 pledge, and a water bottle for $100!
PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to: Oldest Walker, Youngest walker, Highest individual pledges raises, Spirit award, highest pledges made by a school team.
