West Hants Flagship Art Show
Hants County-connected artists, both novice and professional, annually share their work with us in support of the Avon River Heritage Museum where we honour our area's Planter and ship-building past and celebrate our community's rich and eco-cool future along the banks of the Avon River.
Please join us!
The show opens Friday, April 27 in the evening at 7 pm with a wine and cheese reception, and continues Saturday the 28th ( 10 am to 5 pm) and Sunday the 29th (11 am to 3 pm )
Newport Landing is a tiny hamlet near Avondale at an approximate spot where the Lydia and Sally landed over 250 years ago with this community's founding families. The Museum is located on 17 Belmont Road. Just keep following the signs for Avondale and keep straight when the road forks just after the sign for Newport Landing. You'll find us on the banks of the beautiful Avon River.
