What: Grand Encampment to celebrate 2nd Berwick Scouting Group’s 50th Anniversary
Where: soccer field behind Berwick’s Town Hall
When: Saturday, May 19, 2012, beginning with a Grand Opening at 11 a.m.
Who: All scouting sections, ages 5-26, Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturer Scouts, Rover Scouts and Leaders will be participating in the Grand Encampment.
More information: All scouting youth and members of the public are invited to take part in many of our activities at the camp including wide-area games, compass work, knot tying, shelter building crafts, fire building plus there will be displays of scouting memorabilia, Kub Kars, and a Scouting information / registration desk.
Scouting has had a long history in Berwick and we would like to share our success with the community.
There will be great photo and interview opportunities at this event.
It is open to the public.
