“Come Walk the Pollen Path”

“O beauty before me, beauty behind me, beauty to my right, beauty to my left, beauty above me, beauty below me, I am on the Pollen Path.”
Shamanic song of the Navaho

One in every three bites of food we eat is the result of pollination by an insect. Many different kinds of bees, butterflies, beetles, bugs, bats and even hummingbirds have the vital responsibility of carrying out one of the most important living jobs on our planet...Pollination! Come for a walk on the pollen path and witness this biological work in progress. Meet many of the 159 and counting different bee species native to Nova Scotia...big, tiny, furry, shiny and all very “bizzy!”. Bee a pollinator in our field. Makea print of pollination in action. Fair weather event.
