Theatre
The Lower Denton Theatre at Acadia University will be invaded by a herd of dancing, singing rhinos November 5-8,12-15. A dishevelled office worker confronts the fact that all of his friends and colleagues are transforming, one by one, into rhinos. Berenger is forced to ask himself the fundamental question "Should I join or remain alone?" This darkly funny exploration of convention and tolerance is one of the great plays of the past century. In a time of increasing intolerance to difference, it is even more timely now.
Written by Eugene Ionesco and directed by Michael Devine.
Ticket sales are cash or cheque only and please note that reserved tickets not picked up 10 minutes before the show will be sold at the door.
