Oh Baby! Join us tonight, Wednesday August 1st for Baby Night at the Wolfville Farmers' Market, from 4-7pm, during the regular market and community supper. An event for babies, their parents and siblings too, the evening's focus will be on sharing and learning. We will have activities and information around cloth diapering, breast and bottle feeding, midwifery in NS, doulas and other professionals, and an opportunity to 'Ask a Public Health Nurse', as well as weigh your baby. Parents are asked to 'Wear your Baby' to the market and share info about your wrap/ carrier with others.
At 5:30pm there will be a simultaneous baby feeding session; at 5:45pm the Valley Families for Midwifery will be hosting a Birth Stories Circle; and from 6-7pm some moms will be present to talk about elimination communication. Also Rachel Aalders, of Maternal Moments Photography will be attending and taking photos of babes/ families/ parents etc for free and additionally creating a market baby mosaic for the Market.
