Basic Camera Course
Did you just purchase the camera that you always wanted? Afraid to take it off of auto-ISO and Program mode? Not sure what your buttons and menus do. Not sure when you should be changing the settings or NOT!!
This basic camera course will answer your questions. Starting with the basic principles of photography and ending with a tour of all those buttons and menus. The material will cover exposure, aperture, ISO, depth of field, F-stops, histograms and RAW, to name a few.
The course will end with a 30 minute “exam” that will be “marked” as a group to ensure that you leave the course understanding the material and not confused by it.
The course will be presented in Room A106 at the Kingstec campus on 236 Belcher St in Kentville. You will need to sign in with the commissionaires at the front desk. The course will start at 11 AM and end by 3 PM. The cost is $40 per person. Bring your lunch, partners and your friends as someday you may want to be in one of your photos.
Bring your camera and the owner’s manual.
