Two of the great classical works of the 20th century performed in one night. Bela Bartok's Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion has become one of the key chamber works and George Crumb's monumental Makrokosmos III: Music for a Summer Evening make up the main part of this concert.
The concert features a stellar cast of performers including internationally recognized pianists Simon Docking (Halifax) and David Rogosin (Mt. Allison U) with Moncton percussionist extraordinaire Michel Deschenes and Acadia University's Mark Adam completing the ensemble.
These pieces are once in a lifetime opportunities to see.
