St. James Anglican Church in Kentville is holding its second annual story and song afternoon. Last year it raised over $1,000 for the Canadian Mental Health Association by showcasing CBC's Dickens’ Christmas Carol.
This year we will be hosting men's choir Nova Voce. We are reading O. Henry's ‘Gift of the Magi’ and Katherine Patterson's ‘Angels and Other Strangers’. Both stories are suitable for anyone from seven to 107.
The designation for our proceeds this year: the breakfast programs at KCA and New Minas Elementary.
