Contra Dance
Saturday January 10, 2009  7:30pm - 12am (4 Hours 30 Minutes)
Dance

What, you may ask, is a 'Contra Dance'? It is impossible to adequately convey the essence of a Contra Dance. It is truly something that must be experienced. But do not worry, as I will not leave my friend who has poor circulation without mittens to warm their hands, and as I will not leave the squirrel living in my bedroom wall without a few friendly knocks
before going to bed, I will not leave you without a taste of Contra.

Think of a warm room on a cold night Wooden floors and leather shoes Jigs and reels, tapping heels
Stomping feet moving to the beat Do-si-do, swinging round 'n round Sweat and teabiscuits Good company and good cheer That my friends is what is drawing near.
