Opening reception: June 26th, 7pm
Art Hits the Wall is a not for profit organization rub by volunteers who wish to showcase the remarkable talent of Atlantic Canadian rug hookers and quilters and to encourage these crafts to be pushed to new limits. Art Hits the Wall began in 2004, and for the first time is on tour beginning with the opening at Acadia University Art Gallery and ending at the Amherst Fiber Festival in the fall. The theme for this year’s exhibition is “Kaleidoscopes.”
NB: The Acadia University Art Gallery is planning some exciting workshops in conjunction with the exhibit, check the website for updates.
