Perennial Evergreen favourites Chris Norman and David Greenberg will be touring with the impressive international talent that Chris imports for his Boxwood Festival in Lunenburg.
The ‘Best of Boxwood’ Musique Royale tour throughout the province traditionally follows the Boxwood Festival and Workshop each July in Lunenburg. Programs combine originality, intelligence, fun, and sheer mastery that have garnered respect from audiences, presenters, and colleagues alike in North America, Europe and Asia. The music brings to life the energetic traditional dance music of Maritime Canada, Scotland, & Ireland. Participants this year are Chris Norman (flutes, pipe and voice), David Greenberg (baroque and Cape Breton fiddle), Christine Hanson (cello), Shelley Phillips (harp and baroque oboe) and Matthew Olwell (percussive dance, bodhran and flutes).
