Get nourished at our Wednesday Community Night @ the Market.
Speakers Series (5:30-6:30): Organics, a Farmer’s Perspective with Al Stewart of Stewart’s Organic Farm
We love our Market. We see the Market as a place to purchase food that is produced in a way that lives up to our own values. The word Market has a powerful cousin, the science of marketing. Marketing is the package of words and emotions you are exposed to, with the hope of influencing you to buy our products. In this market, as well as many others, the word “organic” has a high profile. We will examine the role of organics within the marketing landscape of the Market. Alan Stewart has been farming organically for 25 years in Hortonville, and is Wolfville Farmers Market’s longest serving vendor.
