Transfer paints are a versatile medium that can be used for a wide variety of textile applications for surface design. We will experiment with several different applications then combine them to make a richly textured fabric background to further stitch and embellish. No previous painting experience needed however textile artists at any level will benefit from the practice.
Instructor: Kate Madeloso, a retired graphic designer with a postgraduate certificate in Surface Design, works with a variety of mixed media styles out of her home studio in Wolfville.
Register: by July 13th at the Acadia University Art Gallery by Cash or Cheque (payable to artist)
