Ever want to hook a fine shaded Pansy? Want to know where to use each value of and eight value swatch? Well this is a one day class just for you. We will learn the basics of flower shading and go on to hook a beautiful set of Pansy coasters and have fun while doing it. We will also discuss the finishing of your project.

Instructor: Cindy MacIntosh
After teaching quilting for ten years I decided to try rug hooking. I became a certified rug hooking teacher with the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia in 2002 and seven years later completed my McGown certification. I began teaching through Adult Education and have since taught at the RHGNS school in Cornwallis and Truro and at McGown in Dudley Massachusetts. I have taught Beginners, Fine Shaded Flowers, Dyeing and Geometrics in various workshops through out Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. I was involved in the Eye See You project and am the proud owner of the Toucan. My Monet's Impressionistic Water Lilies were showcased in Jane Halliwell Green's flower shading book.
