MIPAC presents "FISHING," a comedy about internet dating by Nova Scotian author, actor, and playwright Jeremy Webb.
Paul Fisher is just a man: a forty-something, single, newspaper cartoonist with a failed marriage behind him and a history of ‘going-nowhere’ relationships. In cyberspace there are hundreds of thousands of lonely people all summarizing their hopes, needs and desires on the global internet dating site ‘Gone-Fishing.net’. Paul can no longer resist the pull of the dating pool.
FISHING is about week in the bizarre world of Internet dating. At the end of his seven days, Paul Fisher will definitely never be the same again; but will he have landed the fish of his dreams?
Off the Leash is a collective of artists founded in 2009 by Jeremy Webb. They produce theatre, film, the written word, photographs, and events.
