Get nourished at our Wednesday Community Night @ the Market (4-7pm). Each Wednesday we have 30 vendors and our $10 Market Suppers. This week Ernie Laidlaw will be performing live and our speaker series talk is on Raising Sheep for Wool.
Speakers Series (5:30-6:30): Raising Sheep for Wool with Brenda Gilmour of Gaspereau Fibres and Marilyn Rand. Sheep and fibre lovers, come learn from two fibre artists and growers as they share their extensive experience, talking about the value of heritage breeds for small scale farms and creative ways to use wool (hand spinning, dying, felting,weaving). They will also also show sheepskin and sheepsmilk products and offer you a hands-on needle felting demo.
