WORLD CULTURE FAIR

Please join us for an afternoon of global music and culture!

INTERACTIVE DISPLAYS
You can explore a series of interactive culture displays from Acadia's International Students. Also, there will be a hands-on opportunity to try the instruments of Acadia's resident Indonesian Gamelan instruments.

WORLD MUSIC CONCERT
At 3:00 pm, a concert of world music will begin. Directed by Ken Shorley, the concert will feature the Acadia Gamelan Ensemble, who will perform a selection of beautiful music from Indonesia, followed by the rousing sounds of the ORO! Orkestra - a 12-piece "Turko-Balkan folkdance party band", comprising community members, Acadia students and Acadia faculty. The finale of the show will be the World Rhythm & Drumming class, with 35 rhythmically-charged Acadia students from many disciplines across campus!

FREE ADMISSION
Admission to this family-friendly event is free. All are welcome!
