Canning United Baptist Church is recognizing Black Cultural Awareness Month [storm date March 2].
The Sing Out, "Go Tell it in the Valley", is a tribute to Black Spiritual & Gospel Music. It is a musical evening featuring local soloists, Helen Gibson, Valerie Rafuse, Bobby & Darlene Smith. Local musicians, Larry Woodman, Ken Bezanson, Lindsay & Paul Rand & a combined choir of Canning & Gibson Woods Churches will also participate.
A freewill offering for the Furnace Fund will be taken & refreshments provided.
