The Acadia Graduate Student’s Association would like to invite you to our first ever formal wine & cheese fundraiser: In Vino Veritas (Latin for in wine there is truth). An opportunity to meet and mingle with community members, faculty from all departments, and other graduate students.
Wine will be provided by Gaspereau Vineyards, cheese will be provided by Fox Hill Cheese House, along with a variety of other snacks provided by AGSA.
There will be a special welcoming address from Dr. David Mackinnon at 7:15 pm.
Funds go towards the 1st Annual Acadia Graduate Student Conference to be held at the end of March 2014. (More details to come – stay tuned!)
As Dr. David MacKinnon, Acadia’s Dean of Graduate Studies says, “Graduate study is a time to pamper your mind.”
So why not pamper ourselves whilst we are pampering our minds?
Let’s show the Annapolis Valley Community, Acadia Faculty and students what Acadia’s Graduate Students are doing to create this vibrant research community!
