Doors open at 7pm
Join us to hear Robert Shears speak on the early historical settlement of Lawrencetown and Chezzetcook under the French and later under the British.
The Newcomers’ Club welcomes all residents of the Annapolis Valley. You don’t have to be a newcomer to come to the meetings or to join the group: long-time residents are welcome too!
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month in the Wolfville Farmers’ Market Building, and are open to the public. They feature informative speakers on topics of local interest. Members can participate in the many interest groups, from wine-tasting and biking to gourmet cooking and theatre-going. This is a great place to meet new people, learn about the area, and forge a sense of community.
