Leo McKay Jr.’s debut short story collection, Like This, was short-listed for the Giller Prize in 1995. His first novel, Twenty-Six, inspired by the men who perished in the Westray mining disaster, was published in 2003. It became a national bestseller and won the 2004 Dartmouth Book Award. McKay, who teaches English in Truro, will be reading from his new novel in progress. Free admission, all welcome.
