The Nova Scotia Securities Commission is hosting a public information session on crowdfunding for businesses. This session will provide Nova Scotians with information on the proposed government rules that will allow individuals and companies to crowdfund business projects using internet portals. There will also be additional information on other capital raising exemptions.
We are asking for potential and existing business owners industry participants and local community members who are interested in raising capital to come to this information session and provide us with their feedback on the proposed NS Crowdfunding exemptions.
Please RSVP by May 27, 2014 to Tanya Wiltshire, Securities Commission, 902-424-8586
