Its Farmers’ Market Week in Nova Scotia and to celebrate, the Wolfville Farmers’ Market is having a Sustainability Fair. Learn about sustainability initiatives and innovations being cultivated, discovered and used in the Valley. Come for your Market Supper and learn what practices and tools you can use to make sustainable lifestyle choices on your land, in your life and in your home through meeting and talking with people in over ten organizations. This year we will also have an Up!Skilling Area where people can offer skills on how to create, repair, reuse or creatively use things (using scrap materials, raising animals, fermenting foods!) This community has a wide range of skills and the Upskilling Area is a platform to share these talents and strengthen skills within the community. If you know of someone else who you think might be interested in participating, just let us know.
