The Wolfville Farmers’ Market invites you to its annual Tastes of the Valley event at it’s permanent year-round space in the DeWolfe Building. Tastes of the Valley is a culinary celebration of fresh local food where Valley chefs use Valley-farmed ingredients to make $3 taste concoctions to tantalize your taste buds. Get tickets, menus and event maps at the entrance and cast your vote for your favourite taste to win $100 towards a meal from your favourite Chef.

There will be live music by Andy & Ariana and the event will occur in the midst of our weekly market which is home to 70 vendors. We will be joined by three judges: Darrin Harvey, 89.3 K-Rock on-air personality, Food Blogger Cheri Killam of Root Local.ca and Alison Abernethy, MasterChef Canada Homecooks Contestant 2013. Food Photographer/Blogger Kim Hatcher of Fig and Pepper will inspire us all to embrace the local food scene( which includes the  farmers, entrepreneurs, chefs and restaurants) through a different lens and voice.
