The Societe Promotion Grand Pre has organized a series of talks during the Acadians Days. The two morning talks will be in French, the two afternoon talks in English.

10am - Dr. Gerald C. Boudreau with a presentation on the famous French missionary Jean Mande Sigogne.

11am - Georgette LeBlanc will talk about Prudent, her poetic novel inspired by her ancestor Prudent Robichaud.

1:30pm - Dr. Gerald H. Gerrits will talk on the impact of the Dutch farmers who settled in the Annapolis Valley after the Second World War.

2:30pm - Talva Jacobson, archeologist and ceramic artist will give her first public presentation on the reconstruction process of the child's skull that was found in 1996 during the digs to establish the perimeter of Sainte-Famille Cemetery in Falmouth.
