Wolfville Cittaslow Public Information Meeting #2

Imagine This: In Wolfville, we strive for a
living healthy lifestyle,
looking after our elderly and our youth,
preserving traditional foods and our agricultural past, present and future,
caring for our environment,
inclusive community decision making,
active and accessible community networks, unique town events,
working for a sustainable future; our community and Council working together, supporting our local products and businesses. These are all ideals that are supported by Cittaslow.

The Town of Wolfville is considering applying for Cittaslow status. A committee of interested citizens would like to share with you the potential benefits of Wolfville becoming a Cittaslow town and hear your views on its impact and potential.

The public are encouraged to attend and make your views heard.

Slow Food is already part of Nova Scotia and the Wolfville experience. Cittaslow is an international organization where towns adopt sustainable principles and ingrain them in municipal planning strategies and business development.
