Canada Day on the Wing!
The 14 Wing Community Centre and Greenwood Military Family Resource Centre have once again partnered to offer our annual Canada Day on the Wing event. This will be a great way to celebrate Canada’s birthday with our CF families and the surrounding communities.
Our Canada Day festivities will kick off with our annual skateboard clinic and competition, for ages 9-18, from 1200 – 1500 hrs and registration commencing at 1100 hrs.
Below is a list of other events taking place with all activities held outside of the 14 Wing Community Centre;
From 1200 – 1500 hrs;
• BBQ available for purchase.
• FREE Bounce Kingdom Inflatable
• Tattoos, a Fire Truck and MP vehicle visit, and other fun in the sun activities!
From 1300 – 1500 hrs;
• FREE Family Swim & Fun Pool Games
In the event on inclement weather, with the exception of the skateboard clinic and competition and pool events, we will hold most of these activities inside the Community Centre during the advertised times.
Please note that to help control parking and safety, Church St. will be closed during the events. However, the parking lots at the Queen of Haven Chapel, CANEX and VPI will be accessible.
