Ramp it Up!
A pub night, silent auction and art exhibition in support of the Kentville skatepark project
Join the Kentville Skatepark Association for a night of entertainment and excitement!
The event will begin at 6:30 upstairs on the mezzanine with a drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Our host will be be Rod McMahon, of Maximum DJ, with live music courtesy of local musician Jeff Hockley and the band 'Hilroy'. A silent auction will take place between 7 and 9pm with a variety of items such as a sterling silver jewelry item from Silpada, a 1 hour therapeutic massage, a professional 'Zoom' tooth whitening session, gift certificates, a kids 'learn to skateboard' birthday party and much more.
Also available for auction will be 20 unique pieces of art created by local artists, who were given a blank skateboard deck as their canvas. These one-of-a-kind items are an original and eye-catching way to display the talent and creativity of our Nova Scotia artists.
All proceeds from the event going to the Kentville Skatepark.
Be sure to visit the Designer Cafe in Kentville between September 5-19, where our 'Art Boards' will be on display with early-bird bidding available. For more information or to donate auction items contact Matt MacLeod at 678-9627 or [email protected]
