Since 2011, Deep Roots Music Festival has been proud to support the Wolfville and Area Food Bank through our Sunday morning ‘Rise Up Singing’ concerts. This year, we are determined to make the largest contribution yet! You can help by donating nonperishable food items (like pasta, canned fruit & vegetables, butter, tomato sauce, etc) and, of course, cash for this important cause.
Pete Seeger sang for social justice issues that encourage others to Rise Up Singing and work for peace & human rights. Pete passed away this year. We have a stellar line up ready to entertain in his style, including James Keelaghan, Ruth Moody, Jaron Freeman-Fox, Shawna
Caspi and Kim Barlow. Join us for this tribute to Pete Seeger and the causes he worked for and the opportunity to tell him ‘goodbye’ with good music and shared food for those in need.
