Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia’s latest production tells the story of an endearing brother and sister as they celebrate the first days of winter. Created by award-winning Canadian author/illustrator Marie-Louise Gay, Stella, Queen of the Snow follows the adventures of Stella and Sam as they discover the joys of of snowmen, snowballs, snow angels and the mysterious white stuff itself. First published in 2000, the book remains a favourite among Stella’s worldwide fans.
The hour-long production features whimsical puppets, striking scenic effects and evocative original music that have earned international recognition for Mermaid Theatre.
