Holly Meuse will lead a talking stick making workshop, materials provided as part of the cost, and you will learn how to use it.
Kwe, My name is Holly Meuse and I live at l’sitkuk First Nation. At the present time, I am completing a Master’s degree in Adult Education, with a thesis on Mi’kmaq Cultural Art. For years, I worked as a social worker, but I have always had a desire to do Native Art. I have facilitated many workshops such as: making hand drums, painting, deer hide rattles, Mi’kmaq peaked caps, beading, and moccasins, just to name a few. I am a self proclaimed artist with a diploma in fine arts.
