The Annapolis Valley Honour Choirs will be bringing their love of singing and sharing to the community in their upcoming concert, “Winter Song”.
A variety of music will be performed by the choirs with classic compositions by Britten, Mendelssohn and Copland, folk arrangements and spirituals and even Mumford and Sons with a student band! The choirs will also perform together and there will be carols for the whole audience to join in the music making.
Join us for a wonderful celebration of love, light, hope, and community! It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance – last year these concerts were sold out!
The Annapolis Valley Honour Choir is one of Atlantic Canada’s leading youth choir organizations with a national reputation for excellence. It is an instructional music program for students in grades 5 through 12 throughout the valley, conducted by Heather Fraser. It emphasizes musical and vocal training through choral music and exists to enrich the artistic lives of its members, their families and communities.
